Now that bug 69267 has been implemented, it would be great to disable the relnote keyword. Firefox is now using a tracking flag "relnote-firefox:" instead.

AFAIK, this keyword is still used by:
* the Bugzilla project
* SeaMonkey

I don't think Thunderbird is using it now.

Byron, Callek, could you switch to an other solution? an other keyword (relnote-bugzilla or relnote-seamonkey) or tracking flag like fx? Thanks

*I* don't use the relnote keyword for SeaMonkey, however I'm not certain if others in SeaMonkey do.

I've cast a wide net with a whole bunch of SeaMonkey people to try and get an answer to c#1 for you. (if any of you know for sure, please clear all n-i's for seamonkey. If you don't a self-clear is enough)

Sylvestre, if everyone from SeaMonkey that I n-i'd simply clears their n-i's with no-one owning up to using it, I feel safe in saying directly we don't need it. (since these people are the most likely to care afaik)

before bug 69267 was fixed i raised this in a bugzilla meeting and there were no disagreements with moving to a relnote flag for bugzilla tracking.  i'll remind the project admins about this so we can flip the switch once we're clear.

I don't use the relnote flag. though I'm sure if we need something,
we can always use relnote-seamonkey

I think it would still be useful to track where release notes are required, so as long as we can have a relnote-seamonkey tracking flag, happy for relnote keyword to vanish.

i think there's enough responses from the seamonkey team to have consensus.

i've deactivated the 'relnote' keyword, and created 'relnote' flags for both bugzilla and seamonkey.
