Crash Data

This bug was filed from the Socorro interface and is report bp-200a40c9-45c0-433f-98f3-40c392150807. ============================================================= I don't know how to reproduce. I think I have crashed like this once recently so far...
However, looking at crash-stats, it seems that this is a common signature.
Ehsan, do you by chance have MS Office on this Mac? Per a response I received on the Mozilla Support Forum, this turns out to be caused (at least in part) by an interaction with Office. There IS a workaround I found by Googling the bug: running Firefox in 32 bit mode. Close FF, go to the application in your Applications folder, right-click on it, select "Get Info" and check the "run in 32-bit mode" option box. Haven't crashed since doing this. Obviously, there IS still a bug somewhere but it may be caused by Microsoft. Best wishes, David
(In reply to David Butler from comment #4) > Ehsan, do you by chance have MS Office on this Mac? No. I do have OpenOffice though but that shouldn't matter.

I was browsing imgur for about two hours on a train ride when I crashed on this: http://imgur.com/gallery/lRQL3Q0 https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/2312e9fe-b84e-4310-aaba-986912160303
This is a duplicate of bug 1162024, right?
