Then when the page start to scroll try to stop the scrolling effect. Result: the page continus to scroll. Reproducible: Always
Confirmed in build 2002030412, Mac OS 9.2. This bug is also present in mail/news and Composer.

I still see this problem when I release the button outside of the window. Steps: Click and drag in content area, initiating a scroll Drag mouse outside of content area Release mouse button Result: content area continues to scroll until the bottom of the content is visible Expectation: content area stops scrolling when mouse button is released

I cannot reproduce this on current trunk build. Maybe, this was fixed by cocoa widget. -> WFM
