User Story

As a user, I use the desktop frequently, but find that entering information into my feature phone is cumbersome. I want to easily edit and add contacts from a desktop to my phone.

As a tech hesitant elderly user, I want help from my tech savvy relatives to add and edit contacts on my firefox OS phone.
The requirement is to Add / edit / delete / import contacts for Firefox OS from the desktop. I think we can do this with the Kinto server and the Kinto.js which we are already working on. Then it does not depend on bug 859306. We would still need a read-only CardDav client for import, of course, but at least we don't have to build yet another two-way sync system. Let's discuss!
(In reply to Michiel de Jong [:michielbdejong] from comment #1) I opened bug 1198633 for the architecture discussion.

I (as a user) don't want to sync my contacts with the Mozilla servers. I have a ownCloud server running at home, all my contacts are stored there. It has a CardDAV implementation, so please let me use this API in the Contacts app.
