Actual results: Nothing. Expected results: Earlybird should shut down, possibly after asking user to verify that this is desired.
Earlybird should shut down, Are you saying it hangs? Does it reproduct in safe mode? > possibly after asking user to verify that this is desired. we wouldn't do that

You can use the xpi attached at bug 1188778 to fix the issue until it's fixed in the tree.

It doesn't hang - it just appears to ignore clicking on the X to close it, and also ignore clicking on the other two buttons next to the X. Same results in safe mode with networking.

Partial workaround: Clicking on File, then Exit closes the program.
