From reece.dews@gmail.com via lists.mozilla.org : With a light background the text on the lockscreen can be really difficult to read, I actually noticed this in 2.0 and have silently hoped it would be fixed in future versions. Maybe it would help to add a coloured tint to the homescreen depending on the colour of the background or to add a transparent border around the text?

It's worthy of noting that on my Flame device's screen the text blends more with the light background and is harder to read than it is in this screenshot.
