Simply following STR doesn't repro the bug. This issue seems to be dependent on websites. Some websites will make the bug occur when going back to it. So far I've only found one website that reproduces this. STR: 0) Enable pinning the web in developer settings 1) On Browser go to imgur.com 2) On the same window go to mozilla.org 3) Hit the back arrow button, and wait until it finishes loading - Site icon is gone upon loading completes This issue is reproducible on latest Flame 2.5 and Aries. Device: Aries 2.5 BuildID: 20151006110922 Gaia: 60cdaa3d3424db3432dc903e7f9c6c8fa099c06d Gecko: 89732fcdb0baca70e8b7a25a2725117113f0db80 Gonk: 2916e2368074b5383c80bf5a0fba3fc83ba310bd Version: 44.0a1 (2.5) Firmware Version: D5803_23.1.A.1.28_NCB.ftf User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:44.0) Gecko/44.0 Firefox/44.0 Device: Flame 2.5 BuildID: 20151006030203 Gaia: 60cdaa3d3424db3432dc903e7f9c6c8fa099c06d Gecko: 3edc8d4a1e198314f5d7ebd2967b85842beef602 Gonk: c4779d6da0f85894b1f78f0351b43f2949e8decd Version: 44.0a1 (2.5) Firmware Version: v18Dv4 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:44.0) Gecko/44.0 Firefox/44.0

I did the STR many times and in different settings but I failed to reproduce the bug. I tried going back and forth from the websites in comment 2 a lot of times. I tried to clear the browsing cache, on both a Z3C and Flame with the latest builds. I got the icon every time. Can you verify if this happens in the latest build and if so, please provide a solid STR.

This issue is no longer occurring. The behavior has changed on imgur. When I did comment 2 testing the site icon will appear DURING loading, and will disappear AFTER loading finishes. Now it's doing the reverse that icon is empty during loading and will eventually appear after loading finishes. Issue does NOT appear on: Device: Flame 2.5 BuildID: 20151013030230 Gaia: d400cda6bf0f8b30dcf7d7d71bfa61f29a3f1588 Gecko: 607a236c229994df99766c005f9ec729532d7747 Gonk: c4779d6da0f85894b1f78f0351b43f2949e8decd Version: 44.0a1 (2.5) Firmware Version: v18Dv4 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:44.0) Gecko/44.0 Firefox/44.0 Device: Aries 2.5 BuildID: 20151013110851 Gaia: d400cda6bf0f8b30dcf7d7d71bfa61f29a3f1588 Gecko: 607a236c229994df99766c005f9ec729532d7747 Gonk: 2916e2368074b5383c80bf5a0fba3fc83ba310bd Version: 44.0a1 (2.5) Firmware Version: D5803_23.1.A.1.28_NCB.ftf User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:44.0) Gecko/44.0 Firefox/44.0 ------ NI reporter to test on latest and confirm whether it still occurs for them. If it is still occurring, please provide the website URL where this reproduces on.
