Details
From what I understand, the new A/B testing for Firefox for Android uses some kind of random seed to determine whether it should behave one way or another. For use cases like mozregression (where we're installing new apps all the time to bisect regressions) we should have a way to make sure that we always use the same random seed to ensure we have the same behavior.
It was suggested that this should be accomplished by using an environment variable. I don't really care as long as it can be instrumented.
:snorp: Can you find someone to work on this?
