Reproduced with Firefox 42 beta 4, latest Dev Edition 43.0a2 and latest Nightly 44.0a1 2015-10-06 under Mac OS X 10.11. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the contextual menu anywhere 2. Hover contextual menu items ER: Hover selection centers the text AR: Selection is lower than it should Reproduced back to Nightly 42.0a1 2015-07-25 so this is not a regression
Bug 1201318 will fix this.
Depends on: 1201318
Petruta, could you verify that this is fixed on trunk/aurora? If it's fixed than I suggest we close this as a dupe of bug 1201318.
Flags: needinfo?(petruta.rasa)
The contextual menu is centered on latest Nightly and Aurora builds. I've seen that there are 3px above text and 4px below, but this seems to be case for OS X 10.9.5 too, so I'm closing this as a dupe.

I see this happening in Thunderbird, too, and it's still happening in the beta. (The Thunderbird Earlybird build link seems currently broken, so I don't know if it's affecting Earlybird.) Do you know when a fix for this will make it in to Thunderbird?
