Swipe a tab so that it's partially visible, then release. It should either snap back to its original position, or follow through with the animation and remove the tab. Instead, it just sticks to where you left it. Screenshot attached.
Is this happening every time? What device / Android version? I can't reproduce this.
Latest Nightly, Moto X Pure, Android 5.1.1.
Sebastian, can you see if this issue exists on tablets? Maybe this bug only presents itself if the user also experiences the awkward layout described in bug 1215162.
Blocks: compact-tabs
No longer blocks: tabs-tray

I do not see this on my N9. But yeah, it could be triggered by the layout in bug 1215162.

Currently my patch in bug 1214602 still uses the grid/"compact tabs" in landscape mode. Mostly because the list seemed to be broken now in landscape but this needs more testing/debugging. It would be nice to tackle this when we continue to work on the "compact tabs" and RecyclerView migration.
Brian: I was just wondering, with bug 1215162 being fixed - is this gone too?

Yep, both bugs are gone now.
