Reporter: Other sites with java are working (java.sun.com) ?
Keywords: crash
Good question. I didn't think to check, because java was working for me with other very recent nightly builds. The answer is: No. java.sun.com gives the same symptoms. In other words, when I go to java.sun.com, I get the same crash and the same output.
I can also reproduce the bug with the following steps: 1) remove nightly mozilla install in /tmp/mozilla 2) download linux build 2002012706 into /tmp/mozilla 3) run /tmp/mozilla/mozilla 4) go to java.sun.com 5) install java plugin by following instructions on screen 6) quit mozilla 7) run /tmp/mozilla/mozilla 8) go to java.sun.com
