User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0
Build ID: 20151103004217
Steps to reproduce:
I'm using MileWideBack extension for years now.
Actual results:
I upgraded to FF 44, and the add-on lost 90 percent of its functionality (only mouse-wheel cycling through opened tabs is working).
Expected results:
Hm, I expect it to work.

There is this bug about contacting add-on devs about the recent changes: bug 1213160.
Kris, any thoughts?

We're working deploying some combination of automated repacks and developer notifications. Hopefully we'll have some progress by next week. See bug 1213102.

Any chance it will be fixed any time soon? Or should we start looking for something else out there?

The developer has to fix the extension, or someone develops a new one with similar functionality.

I sent a message to the developer via AMO, but it the add-on hasn't been actively developed in a long time, so I wouldn't hope for a response. The `let` scoping issue should have been fixed by bug 1213102, but there may be other issues as well. If you have any programming skills, you might want to consider fixing it yourself and uploading a fork.

There is a fork now called MileWideBack Mellow Gold Extrawide Nospin.
Indeed, link to the fork:

Came here to say the extension author released a new separate version of MileWideBack that's compatible with Firefox 57+.
