Vinit, is there a particular reason you decided to enable HWA? HWA is disabled by default because of problems and crashes like these. Also, please post the graphics information listed at help | troubleshooting. And, are you running the most recent version of video driver?

Therae are several newer versions of the driver. The most recent is from a few days ago http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/94216 Do you still crash after updating the drivers? If so, do you find any matches to your problem in this list http://mzl.la/1Ss2QY1 ? Lastly, have you proved that Thunderbird with your 610M is faster with HWA enabled?

Hardware acceleration proved useful for Firefox when I tried it. How do I prove it for Thunderbird if it keeps crashing? And I have the latest certified driver for my system provided by OEM. http://imgur.com/pQuYVzl And the list contains bugs for Firefox mostly, I don't have nay problem with Firefox.

(In reply to Vinit Wankhede from comment #7) > Hardware acceleration proved useful for Firefox when I tried it. How do I > prove it for Thunderbird if it keeps crashing? I don't see most users reporting that HWA helps Thunderbird performance. In fact very few. > And I have the latest certified driver for my system provided by OEM. And yet, that version is likely not sufficient. EOM tend to drag behind. And People routinely install newer drivers and are not "approved by the OEM. > http://imgur.com/pQuYVzl > > And the list contains bugs for Firefox mostly, I don't have nay problem with > Firefox. Thunderbird and Firefox are different animals.
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/95561/en-us Nvidia GeForce 359.00 WHQL driver, don't use OEM drivers, they are very outdated and don't have the latest bugfixes.

Vinit, Do you continue to run OK with HWA disabled? Does version 45 behave better with HWA ENABLED?

Vinit, Better yet, do you still have problems using beta version from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/channel/ ? (graphics fixed many bugs since versoin 45, and several people are reporting good results with beta)

Thanks for the update. The crash signatures I am removing from the bug are probably unrelated to the HWA crash
