Scrolling http://people.mozilla.org/~jmuizelaar/test-cases/wide-page/planet.freedesktop.org.html is janky and checkerboards more.

With bug 1229929 fixed, is this still an issue (i.e. do you still see jank/checkerboarding on this page)?

This is still an issue on current Nightly. Bug 1240133 will probably help.

Bug 1240133 is in today's nightly but I'm not sure if it made the displayport narrow enough to matter much.

Jeff said "it's better" but also "it jiggles while scrolling horizontally" meaning the displayport width shrinks/grows as you scroll horizontally. Presumably this is from switching between the stationary and skate multipliers as the velocity increases/decreases. On the y-axis we use the same multiplier so there's no switching, we should maybe do that on the x-axis?
