I've not checked exhaustively, but at a glance it looks like all the OSX downloads are broken.

I don't understand why they are missing. Do we have any ETA on when this mysterious issue might get resolved? We have a lot of failing tests that would be great to see turn green again :)

It looks to me like latest-earlybird used to be a symlink to latest-comm-aurora. Now that we are in s3, that directory is no longer updated since there are no symlinks. Instead, builds are put into latest-comm-aurora. I think the best way forward would be to delete latest-earlybird and latest-earlybird-l10n and update all external links to use latest-comm-aurora. Does that sound ok to you rkent?

Since opening this bug the situation seems to have worsened according to our scheduled download link checker report. Now Earlybird download links for *all* platforms are 404: https://bedrock-prod-deis.eu-west.moz.works/en-US/thunderbird/earlybird/all/ Is someone working on fixing this?

To unblock your link-checker, can you exclude it for Thunderbird until the bugs are fixed? As you noted, even if I update the website to use latest-comm-aurora-l10n, we still have some l10n build issues to be fixed in bug 1222878. I probably won't be able to do this until after Feb. 4th.

I think I can update the website to use the right directory easy enough. But some links will still remain broken until the build issues are addressed. Thanks

Hopefully as a temporary fix, Today I PR'd the ship-it py script to update the aurora linkage to the present 51.0.a2 version.

For those of you wondering, that was https://github.com/mozilla-releng/ship-it/pull/130 I hope we don't have to do this each merge cycle. Looks like there has been some great progress from aleth, we should have updated links soon.

Tomorrow we should have a (possibly incomplete on some platforms) set of localized builds on both c-c and c-a. For the record, the newest en-US Earlybird lives in https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/nightly/latest-comm-aurora/, the localized builds are in https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/nightly/latest-comm-aurora-l10n/ The relevant bedrock file seems to be https://github.com/mozilla/bedrock/blob/master/bedrock/thunderbird/details.py As far as I can tell from that file, this bug should be fixed once the builds become available at those locations. BETA and RELEASE versions are managed through a form release drivers fill in for each release that contains a lot of meta data about a release. NIGHTLY and ALPHA are just version number changes in config.py

I'm going to remove my needinfo here. It's unclear whether an additional step needs to be done after merges or not. If so...I can probably script it if someone tells me what needs to be done!
