Hi mlien,

I can't reproduce this phenomenon. Please let me know some your environment.
(e.g. screen resolution / real or virtual machine? / kind of host machine OS, if run with VM)
Component: Gaia::TV → Simulator
Flags: needinfo?(mlien)
Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080
Real Machine
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Not in VM

I use TV Simulator preset resolution 1920x1080
Flags: needinfo?(mlien)
Thanks Mike.

I can reproduce this phenomenon under the following condition:
 - The width of simulator is same to machine width.

Perhaps, Smart-TV System Application has misunderstand runtime.(real or simulator.)

Hi Evelyn.

In simulator, calculation of orientation is failed if simulator's width is same to machine's width. So I added the height condition to the calculating orientation.

Could you confirm this patch?
If you are not familiar with this area, Could you please introduce right person?

Hi Mantaroh,
Thank you for providing patch. This is a known issue and there are some findings on bug 1228899. Would you mind to resolve bug 1228899 instead? Thanks.
