Hi Cynthia, could you help to confirm v2.5 and master again since you indicate the master is unaffected. If master has keyboard but v2.5 doesn't, please reopen this issue, thanks.

reopen this issue since we have inconsistent behaviour from v2.5 and master

Cynthia, I'd like to close this bug per our offline talk - Simulator doesn't includes keyboard, so both master and 2.5 behaviors are undefined.
