Hi Mike, Cynthia, The codec on simulator are different than real TV. The issue should not happen on real TV. Could you verify the issue on real TV?

Is it same as bug 1199985, which should be resolved after bug 1214148 landed? If it's same bug, the video can be played normally if pressing |mute| icon then refresh (see bug 1199985 comment 10).

We had a similar case on this recently in the mobile version. And seems resolved now : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1212974 I think a retest is in order.

Real TV can play video on Youtube.com normally. Hi Cindy, could you help to verify this issue again to make sure if this still can be reproduced from your side? If not, please close it, thanks.
