User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.103 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
example of icons not showing up: http://www.wcat-tv.org/2016/01/winthrop-town-council-january-19-2016/
Visit site. If no icons, try yanking the iframe and playing with it locally on a simple local html doc.
Add in more random iframe embeds from youtube, and/or the same ones.
I ended up with this: http://imgur.com/bKsUJ6S
all the same embed codes, one completely different video, and two different versions of the player. One that still autoplayed
Actual results:
I copied the embed to a local html file to try and diagnose without any javascript/css/etc getting in the way. After reducing it to it's original simple iframe embed code, it refused to change the display. I cleared my browser cache and history and still no updates. I then copied a new embed code straight from youtube and it was working properly with icons showing of some random video. Then I went to the original video on youtube and got the embed code from there, stuck that in the page, and it worked. Tried re-saving the file with utf-8 encoding. No changes
Expected results:
No transparent youtube icons, autoplay turning off when the param is removed from the embed url, clearing of browser cache making all embeds uniform (They're the same code! Literally copy-pasted!).
I have no idea how/why this is happening, it could be youtubes fault as well, so sorry if this isn't on your end guys. I just can't reproduce this in another browser
