Steps to reproduce:

Opened the Customize Widget to add an item to the Mail Toolbar



Actual results:

Noticed that the icons for a Separator and Add as Task were missing from Customize



Expected results:

The icons for a Separator and Add as Task should be visible.



The normal separator appears as expected in 45.0b2, with a test profile, on my test user account.

The dot only appears in 45.0b1 Customize, and as applied to the toolbar.

I just update 45.0b1 to b2 on my production account and the separator is normal.

Walt, on what distro are you to not seeing the separator with GTK3?

Linux Mint 17.3, Linux 3.16.0-38-generic, KDE desktop Platform Version 4.14.2

I installed Ubuntu 15.10 today and plan to test Daily on it.

Here on Mint 17 Cinnamon with 3.13.0-24-generic (no KDE) I see the separator. Also on Kubuntu 15.10 the separator is normal. Kubuntu uses KDE5.

Maybe the issue is together with KDE4.

It appears that for 45.0b2, the issue was with my System Settings > Application Appearance > Colors > Options tab. Once I increased the Contrast under Shading the separator became more visible. Removing the check mark for "Apply colors to non-KDE4 applications" in the same tab also works.

Using Ubuntu 15.10, I see the separator in both 45.0b2 and Daily 47.0a1.

I don't think so. Those are about the separators only getting one of the 2 colors from the theme and thereby looking ugly. This bug seems to say they don't display at all. That seems like a separate issue.

Not using Thunderbird 45.5.1 installed from the Synaptic Package Manager on Kubuntu 16.04.1 using the default Breeze Gnome Application Style GTK3 theme.
