Details
There should be an option to prevent recipient auto-completion without explicit
selection (via mouse or arrow keys) when more than one address matches.
Auto-competion is highly desirable, but it is _far_ too easy to accidentally
just accept the first choice even when it is the wrong one. My experience is
that errors are extremely frequent amongst my users (I'm an IT manager) and I
even make them myself quite regularly. This should be optional but on by
default. I have an HCI background and I would say that that may be the single
biggest usability improvement you could make to mail.
