pushing to ssh://hg.mozilla.org/build/slaveapi running ssh hg.mozilla.org 'hg -R build/slaveapi serve --stdio' searching for changes 1 changesets found remote: abort: could not lock repository /repo/hg/mozilla/build/slaveapi: Permission denied abort: unexpected response: empty string

Yes, I saw some bugs regarding that. I don't have access to that git repo either.
You also get that permission denied error when your scm level isn't high enough. If I had infinite time, I'd add an extension that makes the error message on permission failure better.
okay, so I need to have access to land this patch to fix the issues in bug 1256375 is the repository of record ssh://hg.mozilla.org/build/slaveapi or http://git.mozilla.org/?p=build/slaveapi.git? I have level 3 permissions (bug 1144372)

Yes, I don't have access to the git repo either so I'll move the bug to that bucket and try to acquire access.
Component: Mercurial: hg.mozilla.org → Git
QA Contact: hwine
Summary: can't land code on ssh://hg.mozilla.org/build/slaveapi → can't land code on http://git.mozilla.org/?p=build/slaveapi.git
nevermind, Callek showed me that I have to use a different user to clone via ssh which is not immediately obvious from doc
