Details

As we remove the Web Activities API we need to remove all uses in Gaia, finding alternative solutions wherever possible.
No longer blocks: 1252143
Just going to remove the feature or change for another?, there is any candidate on the standards who can do something like this or closer?
For gaia-as-chrome, we will implement a replacement. For the web at large, this proposal seems to be the most promising: https://github.com/chromium/ballista
