Lately I've been noticing the font in FX becoming "lighter" while scrolling. I don't really have any exact STR as I've only seen this a few times, but when it does happen it also affects all the other tabs. I've managed to capture a video of the problem happening on bugzilla. You'll notice when I scroll up, the font becomes a bit lighter and when I scroll back down, the font returns to it's default.

I am curious about whether it could be due to the compositor not snapping the layers properly while scrolling. 

Could you enable paint flashing by going to the devtools, adding the "Highlight painted area" toolbox button by ticking the corresponding check box in the Toolbox option panel, and clicking on the brush icon that just appeared on the right side of the devtools.
You should see random colors flashing as things change in the page. What I am interested in, is whether or not the flashing color changes on top of the text at the same time as the font "lightness" changes.
