Nightly build 2016-04-30 type "a" arrow to first choice offered focus is still in URL bar hit delete nothing is deleted
By "first result" do you mean the "visit/search" heuristic result (the preselected row) If so, yes, it can't be removed.
(In reply to Marco Bonardo [::mak] from comment #1) > By "first result" do you mean the "visit/search" heuristic result (the > preselected row) > If so, yes, it can't be removed. Correct, whether it is the first result of many, or only one result. Both are a problem.
not all the results can be removed from the dropdown, the problem is that the UI is confusing and doesn't clearly show that. This will likely end up being duplicated to the bug asking for remove buttons or contextual menu for the locationbar dropdown, since I don't think we plan to allow removing "special" results.

The problem in my case is the URL is more than just an undesirable hit - it is a bad URL. I want it gone.
just remove it from history?
(In reply to Marco Bonardo [::mak] from comment #5) > just remove it from history? Isn't that what *this* UI is still intended to offer? I shouldn't need to go to other UI (eg history) for "special cases".
