sidebar bug? Adam, please read
http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html and provide some of
the information that is necessary to deal with this bug, your build ID first and
foremost.
I can't reproduce this proble with linux build 2002-02-20-08.

I have seen this before (only once, though, and restarting Mozilla cleared it
up). Quite odd.

This has continued to happen to me in 0.9.9, so I'm going to mark it new. I
can't give hard and fast instructions on how to reproduce it, but...
1. Open and close the sidebar.
2. Cross your fingers, and hopefully the bug will appear.
