All should be defined All Platforms, as well as adding Windows All (possibly Mac System ALL) so that bugs that are designed for for certain/all platforms are more clear. EG, the fullscreen mode bug (bug 68136) should be defined as OS: Windows All, and not Windows XP or ALL as it as previously defined. This should relieve some nip-picking users complaining that bugfixes for windows does not fix bugs when defined as OS: ALL as you can see at the bottom of bug 68136 <snip> ------- Additional Comment #295 From Nick Pietraniec 2002-02-20 17:53 ------- I hate to sound like I'm nitpicking here, but this bug was marked for "OS all, platform all." I don't understand how it can be marked closed and a new ticket has to be created for those "other" platforms. I was going to put this in bug 126685 but I wanted to be sure that it went out to all people on this bug's list, because I'm sure there are other people out there who maybe didn't know that "OS: all" meant "OS: Windows." Had I known that, I would have created another bug last year. ------- Additional Comment #296 From Joe Hewitt 2002-02-20 18:58 ------- Please don't nitpick bug resolutions. It is clear that everyone is satisfied with moving to a new bug. The full screen architecture is in place, and other platforms just need to implement a few methods to make it work for them, which is work well covered by a new bug. This bug is done. </snip>
