According to the latest UX spec, we should revert bug 1254040 and bring the expanding/shrinking motion back.

Hi Rex,
Could you review this patch?
The pull request contains two commits. The first reverts bug 1254040 while the second makes it focus the currently-checked button instead of the first focusable button in order to adapt bug 1254051.
