on Linux Firefox (gtk3) -- on this web-site ( http://www.italiansubs.net/ ) -- this input-elements look pretty good .. like on other Linux-native (gtk3) applications.
not look like a bug.
yes, on Windows it has other size. but what the problem? Windows-native application has other Human-Interface-Guidelines.
if web-size-developer want to use *special* size of elements, than they use CSS for is purpose.
about Google Chrome:
Google Chrome is bad example of Linux-native application. and it is using obsoleted GTK2.
