This one goes in the bizarre column. I've reproduced it on Mozilla 0.9.8 (2002020819) under Linux, but not on under Windows (because I can't actually do the equivalent.) As you know, the middle mouse button under Linux means "paste". If you bring up a form with a textarea box which has a scroll bar visible, such as a Slashdot.org reply window, or an Amazon.com review pane, or for that matter this thing I'm typing into right now (with enough content...) and then middle-mouse the top of the scroll bar with a small amount of text in your clipboard... well, see for yourself. It has to be in exactly the right spot and it's a pixel or two around the top of scroll bar position. The scrollbar is still visible but no longer moves, but what you pasted into the scrollbar takes its place and you can drag that instead. I have no idea what happens if you paste a lot of text into the scrollbar and have no wish to find out. Also keep in mind that using the middle button on the scroll bar is something a lot of us are used to, because most X11 GUIs use 'middle click on scrollbar' to mean 'Move scrollbar to here'. As a seperate issue, it would be very nice if you implemented that...
