¡Hola William!
I can reproduce this on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 ID:20160622030210 CSet: 51377a64158941f89ed73f388ae437cfa494c030 and it looks eerily similar to the bug I describe below...
Steps:
- Load https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSAW57_8.5.5/com.ibm.websphere.messages.doc/com.ibm.ws.ssl.channel.resources.sslchannelmessages.html
- Search (<Ctrl>+<F>) for "SSLC0008E"
Result:
Weird things happen, see http://i.imgur.com/xFiQebH.png
Expected result:
It works.
¡Gracias!
Alex

Bulk update to find bar bugs that won't be in 50 (according to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1279695#c4 and local testing).

This will be disabled in 52 as well. That said, things seem to be better in current Nightly builds, albeit still a bit odd. When I follow the STR from comment 0 and search for "language", it properly highlights the visible instance of it in the iframe, but also highlights hidden instances that are scrolled out of view.

Mike, should this block bug 1291278? I'm guessing yes so I'm setting that.

Alex, this doesn't seem to be happening anymore... highlights are displayed in the correct position.
