During installation or configuration of Java 2 Plugin for Windows, Mozilla is terminated by XP. Error occurred after download of Java 2 Plugin for Windows from Netscape.com and and after installation was reported complete. I believe the error occurs during the configuration of Mozilla for the Java 2 plugin. Java 2 scripts do not execute and download is requested on subsequent calls to plugin. I am using Windows XP Pro on a Dell Inspiron 4100 laptop. I am not sure about the URL for the plugin, other than it was from the Netscape site. I was accessing a Novell Management Portal when the plugin was requested.
