This is a feature request: I only want endpoints in my awesomebar. Having intermediary URLs cluttering it up is less than ideal.
So: The Awesomebar would be a bit awesomer if shortened or intermediate URLs were excluded from its search results.

As new frecency data is being built, from now on you should see shortener urls lower in the urlbar compared to their targets. This is not a complete blacklisting of them, but should help a lot.
I honestly don't know if we want to go the complete exclusion path, it sounds complicate to maintain a list of shorteners and it could look bad towards them if Firefox excludes them completely from the UI just because they redirect. I think giving them a low weight works better in general.
For this reason I'm wontfixing this for the pure "exclusion" request. The bug as I see it should be fixed by frecency improvements though.
