Go to the above URL, and print (preferably to a color printer, but looks bad on
a black and white HPLJ2100TN as well). The buttons on the left print twice (in
preview they just look split), the backgrounds of the images are black, and it
doesn't print the background/repeating image on the left side at all.
I'm running Win2k, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.8+)
Gecko/20020304.
I see the problem with buttons printing out twice.
as for the background repeating image, please look at the
options in File | Page Setup..There is an option for Background image
and color printing...check those out...

OK, turning on the print background fixed not seeing the background image, but
the "background" within images are showing up black - is this a problem with
determining trasnparency color (I think they are GIFs with transparency turned
on)? You can see this in the black that is around the AeroVironment Logo (the
background as rendered by the browser is white, not black). The background of
the "news from aerovironment" image should be grey(B&W printers)/bluegreen
(color printers), but it is printing as black.
Lastly, I just noticed a funny thing - the background image that is tiled on the
left-hand side, when you print it out, the last printed tile (on the bottom of
the page) is showing as compressed - it appears to be about 1/3 or 1/4 of the
correct size.
Ok looks like one of your issues is fine now(background image option)

It looks like bug 12037 is likely the cause of the black backgrounds, but this
bug should still be valid for the double-image printing.

Oh, and the compressed (tiled) background image.

Here is the reduced testcase:

I'll attach it with the images. But the problem is "floaters" the problem is
align="left" on the first image. It messes up in PP also, but it looks a little
different that when printing.

I believe I have the same problem with the web page at:
http://hosea.ovc.edu/wells/techapf01/bltport/portfolio.htm
The picture of the Navajo Rug double prints on both my Windows ME machine at
work and my Windows XP machine at home. In addition, the image at the bottom of
the page prints double on my XP machine but not on my ME machine.
Interestingly, the jpg image does not double print if displayed by itself and
not as a part of the web page.
