I just submitted a job with
./mach try -b do -p macosx64 -u gtest -t none
The request seems to have triggered builds for linux and android as well as the requested mac platform. Did I mess up the syntax somehow?

So it looks like you're getting unexpected jobs
linux64/opt tc(Mn-h)
android-api-15/opt tc(Deps checkstyle lint test)
lint/opt tc(f8 ES)
those are all defined as "jobs", which, for reasons I don't understand, were added in such a way that they always run, as noted in bug 1274640. Sorry to bounce this one back to you, gps :)
