Steps: 1. open http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi 2. tab through until a <select> gets focus, either single or multi 3. Press and hold down Alt 4. Press F Expected Results: File menu drops down Actual Results: Nothing happens. note: Ignore the beeping when pressing alt+<key> if the select is a combo box. That's bug 128983.
I was wrong. The beeping isn't bug 128983. I think it may be a problem with the XUL/XBL controls. It also happens if you try to use the access keys in Prefs > Appearance > Fonts when a menulist has focus.
I believe this is fixed now. Please re-open if you are still seeing this on a current build.

OK, re-opening. Multi selects work fine, but single selects (combo boxes) still have the problem.

Using NS 2002032603 on Win2K, this works first time, then fails thereafter. Still get the beeping too.
