Steps how to reproduce with official English SeaMonkey 2.47a1 (NT 6.1; Win64; WOW64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0 Build 20160722004252 (Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit: 1. Launch Browser 2. Menu ˋTools → Web Development → Error Consoleˊ Expected: Error Console opens Actual: Nothing 3. ˋ<shift+control+j> (Shortcut to open Error Console to help)ˊ Expected: Error Console opens Actual: Nothing
As I read in Bug 1284288 comment #4 Frank-Rainer Grahl is already working on the problem

The Error Console wasn't simply there till yesterday because it was removed from toolkit and has just been moved over in bug 1282286. Please try the next build which becomes available.
