One of the very, very, very few things that IE is nicer about than
Netscape/Mozilla is how it treats "open in new window" events. When one opens a
link in a new window under IE, the new link has the same "back" history as the
parent page (i.e. the "back" button will take you to a new copy of the parent).
I prefer this behavior to the traditional Netscape way of making all new pages
virtual orphans. Not a really big deal, but I hate it when IE does _anything_
better than Mozilla.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.middle click on link to open it in a new window
2.goof around and accidentally close original page
3.try to hit the back button to get back to the original page
4.curse
Actual Results: I was mildly annoyed
Expected Results: I can't believe I'm saying this, but: emulate the IE
behavior in the stead of the traditional (but inferior) Netscape behavior.
