2002030708 trunk for MacOS9.x and 0304 build, too. Sometimes, Mozilla does not show the autocompletion drop down list of URL while typing a frequently visited URL in Open Web Location dialog. I am not sure what the condition for this failure to happen. When this happens, clicking Open results in a crash.

One instance of this autocompletion failure is bug 95595. For Ex. Load a long Bugzilla bug list that takes a while to complete. In another window, load the URL; http://www.pluto.dti.ne.jp/~mor97512/ . This page loads slowly, and runs Javascript, too. Then, Open Web Location, and try typing a URL you frequently visit , which ends with "/" so that there are a few subdirectries in the invisible list. If autocompletion drop down fails to show, hitting Open usually crashes.

This bug sounds similar to a bug I see. Every once in a while if I type one letter in the Firebird google search bar I get a crash. Like this bug, it does not show the drop down list. I am using 0.6.1 (I thought this was fixed in 0.6.1).

This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies there as well or resolve this bug. I will resolve this bug as WONTFIX in four weeks if no action has been taken. To filter this and similar messages out, please filter for "mac_cla_reorg".
