User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0
Build ID: 20160823121617
Steps to reproduce:
In Mac OSX(10.11.2) and Firefox Desktop (48.0.2)
1. Open bookmark library.
2. Select 'New Folder...' in option menu.
3. After opening 'new folder' popup, tried to type new folder name as Korean.
Actual results:
nothing happened
Expected results:
New korean strings should be shown in the input field of folder name.
[Notes]
If I move focus to other input field and go back to the folder name, typing Korean works well.

which input source are you using?
I confirmed the issue with the following input sources:
* 2-Set Korean
* GongjinCheong Romaji
* HNC Romaji
and not confirmed the issue with the following issue sources:
* 3-Set Korean
* 390 Sebulshik
but it might be different issue if you're using different input source.
Then, this seems to be old regression (from Firefox 32).
here's regression range:
https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=20ca234fd62b&tochange=4b6d63b05a0a
maybe bug 996848.
it touches event handling and modal dialog would be affected.

Not a recent regression, no need to rush here.

the patch wasn't applicable nor compile-able.
I rebased it and modified some, but the issue still happens after the patch applied.

Maybe, this is same as bug 1233998. If so, this is IME bug.
