Scroll to bottom of that page and try the select (by dragging) text in that list under XviD.. I and Shaver both get garbage there.

I tried hard to get garbage to show up, but it didn't. Can you post a screenshot of how this looks?

Works fine on Debian too (0.9.9). Possible differences on the box causing trouble there: -W98 -MathML/SVG -some setting -Flash installed

Doesn't happen on my other box (WinXP, 2002040803 "mozilla-win32-installer-sea.exe"). Works fine here.

I had this problem on a few sites. Here's one example: http://www.ugo.com/channels/games/features/earthandbeyond/ scroll down to the bottom of the page, and select the text in the last paragraph of the article (above the 'back to top' link). I can confirm this occurs using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc2) Gecko/20020510, flash 6 installed. I also had this problem with previous builds.

I see the same problem on Win Me Moz 1.0 RC3 Build 2002052306 Can confirm problem on both sites listed here. Have tested bug with and without Flash plugin- that makes no difference. Similar bugs: Bug 134544, 119210

Works for me in the 2002-07-16-05 1.0.0 build under Windows ME.
