Actually, no. I see the <button> bug (it's below the baseline). I also see this bug with <input type="submit|button|reset"> on the same page. It's _above_ the baseline.

Need more info here. I see that the bottom of the button is raised 1px above the bottom of the textfield, is that what you're referring to?

Yes, but its more than just 1px.

Need a screen shot or something. I only see a 1px difference on my build.

That screenshot is exactly what I see on the bugzilla url with my build. That's about 2px, at a guess...

This is what it looks like on my current trunk build.

Just update to tip... the result is pretty much what Brian's screenshot shows. The 1px offset is still jarring, and it would be nice if the controls were exactly the same height, but it's much better.

According to this screenshot, this bug seems to be fixed in FF 1.0 (and Mozilla 1.8a5), so marking this one fixed.
