What did you do? ================ 1. Saw the green arrow on the hamburger menu to say there was an update. 2. Went to Help -> about and saw 51.0a2 had downloaded 3. Clicked Restart Firefox Developer Edition to Update button 4. The browser restarted 5. Went to help -> about again and Firefox then re-downloaded the update, and presented the button to restart firefox to update again. Before restarting, the version was 51.0a2 (2016-10-04) (32-bit). After restarting the version stayed the same. What happened? ============== The update was downloaded and installed twice (the second time having no effect) What should have happened? ========================== The update should only download one time. Is there anything else we should know? ======================================

This happens (for me anyway) every time there is an update to developer edition.

This happens when there is an update in progress and another update is released.
