I did check for dups. bug#128806 is to add an icon to the status bar. This one is to add a menu item to the quick launch menu.

What is the quick launch menu?

The quick launch menu may only be Windows specific. If you enable Quick Launch on Windows you get an icon in the system tray. If you right click on it you have a menu that lets you launch Navigator, Mail & News, Composer and Address Book. You can also disable Quick Launch or exit Mozilla. It would be great to have a menu item to launch the Calendar.
