User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0
Build ID: 20160922113459
Steps to reproduce:
1. open a new window/tab.
2. start typing an url (suggestions are shown) [e.g. http://site.one]
3. move a mouse (intentionally or not)
4. text is still show suggestion from p.2, suggested location under mouse pointer highlighted as well [e.g. http://site.two].
5. hit enter button.
Actual results:
http://site.two is opened, I.e. suggestion selected by mouse although enter button was pressed.

Does it happen in safe mode?

Hi,
I have tested this issue on Windows 8.1 x64 with FF 49.0.2 release and I can't reproduce the issue. In my case the search is made after the text from URL bar, doesn't matter if I choose another suggestion with the mouse. Please note that I don't have any addons on this profile.
