Please add the ability to delete email messages (or move to trash) without having to open them. I really don't like having to click on the email that I know is SPAM with a picture that I really don't want to see.

What to you mean by open? You mean: Open in a new tab or window or show in the preview pane? You can do many things to delete e-mail without viewing it: - Switch off the preview (F8) and then delete the e-mail. - Select multiple e-mails and press delete. - While viewing another e-mail, right click on the one you don't want to see and select "Delete Message". If you click on a message and the preview is active, then this message will show in the preview pane. Images in the preview pane are not usually shown if they are referenced from a site that isn't white-listed as an exception in the security settings. Images attached to the message are shown. Bug 322533 asks for an option to switch off inline images. So would you prefer this to be closed as WONTFIX or a duplicate of bug 322533?
