I had a very very strange bug. Sometimes, when I load a message, it is dated 1st
january 1970.
I am using a local news server (hamster) in order to merge 3 or 4 news server
into one only.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a newsgroup
2.click on a post to read it
Actual Results: Content doesn't match with title.
Bad date !
Expected Results: Content matching with title.
Good date !

Very strange ! Any explanation ?!
I did a clean install of mozilla nightly I am using, in order to prevent bug
created from overwriting previous version.

Reporter, can you attach source text for this post ?
It might come from the message itself, and Mozilla just read the date.
Does it happen on the very same post with another news reader ?

I do not understand what is happening !
When I save the message in order to read the source, it saves the right text ! :-(
I made another screenshot, in order to show this problem again !
I do not really understand !

It is a mozilla bug ! I tried with XNews news reader, using same news server,
and cannot find those strange messages.
So, is this bug confirmed or not ?

Might be dupe of bug 132514.

Confirming with a commercial build (Gecko/20020318) -- that's the one I use for
news reading) on Win2000.
When trying to view source (ctrl-U or using the menu), the page is blank.
I moved the news message to a local folders, and then I could view the source.
I've attached the TXT file I made using copy/paste of the view source window.
It looks like a regression with recent builds.

Thanks Tristan for confirming it !
I made some cleanup (installing a new Windows XP, the old one has too /ghosts/
in it !)
Let's hope it would be soon fixed ! :-)

confirming using build 2002032003 on Win2k.
It's even worse because every other message from 1970 is unreadable, it will
display the same message as the first one seen with 1970. I couldn't view source
either (blank window).
