>>> My Info: Win7_64, Nightly 48, 32bit, ID 20160409030219 STR_1: 1. Open attached "testcase 1" 2. Hover mouse over the pink line, to the right from the text 3. Hold left mouse button, then slowly move mouse pointer to the very left of the pink line AR: When you hover mouse over the text, it gets selected from the start to the mouse position The selected range reduces as you move mouse, so when you move mouse to the left from the text, selected range is zero. So, default & convenient gesture for selecting text FAILS. ER: After Step 3 all text in the red line should be selected, just like in green lines STR_2 (result is the same): 1. Open https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbSYF_tmtoE 2. Try to select any arabic comment with gesture described above [it'll fail]

Reproducible on Ubuntu 18.04 with current Firefox. Both, the minimal example and on YouTube.

On the YouTube page linked to above, the issue is not for all Arabic comments reproducible.
E.g., it's not reproducible for 1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbSYF_tmtoE&lc=Ugi36hRMqR0Ks3gCoAEC and
is reproducible for 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbSYF_tmtoE&lc=UggUHANi3b9_Z3gCoAEC.
However, 2) is reproducible on Chrome too.
testcase 1 fails only on Firefox, but I don't know if that's happening on websites too, or if it's an artificial example.
