(Reporter: abdelkrim.bensaid, Unassigned)
Details
(Keywords: access)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Build ID: 20161208153507
Steps to reproduce:
Here is the bug description:
1. Navigate to the list of filters and select one.
2. Press Space to activate or deactivate the selected filter.
Actual results:
With JAWS and NVDA, no information is given on the state of the filter.
Expected results:
Ideally, for better accessibility with screen readers, it would be that these
items are real checkbox type, and that the user can know in real time the
activated state or not of these elements.

Wayne, if you want to dupe it, do it. Until then I use this bug.
I started a build with my patch: https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=try-comm-central&revision=e7893319eb430a5840d0be81e20f34804b88e594
When it finishes the build will be available here: https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/try-builds/richard.marti@gmail.com-e7893319eb430a5840d0be81e20f34804b88e594/

I assume you agree it's the same issue, so yes we should dup it because it has other interested parities and historical information. The reporter address will be added to it.
