From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020326 BuildID: 2002032603, also tested 2002032003 See the test page (http://www.cc.jyu.fi/~mira/moz/moz.html) above. This isn't related to saving the page with Mozilla but it's easiest to reproduce the bug this way. Also, DnD isn't required for this to crash the browser. Even if you simply double click the saved file from harddrive to start Mozilla it'll crash immediatly after loading it. This might be a bug in the local file loading, style sheet handling or renderer? Reproducible: Always (sometimes need to press reload to crash?) Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to http://www.cc.jyu.fi/~mira/moz/moz.html 2. Select File - Save Page As... - web page, complete 3. open saved web page in Mozilla Actual Results: Mozilla crashed. Expected Results: The page should look like the one in the web. Note: File - Save Page As... - web page, complete doesn't save background images included by linked style sheets, but I'll file an another bug for that.
Reporter: Please use severity level "critical" for crashes, and add the keyword "crash". Thank you for using Bugzilla.
Build ID: 2002 03 20 03. Windows 2000. WFM, both if Mozilla is running when I double click the saved .html file, or if not. So this may be regression?
wfm with release 0.9.9 (build id 2002031104), os is windows 2000
wfm v0.9.9+ build 2002032503 win98
WFM too, finally (ID: 2002032603, win98se). I think this can be closed. I removed everything related to Mozilla (profiles etc) and with a fresh profile it doesn't crash anymore. Have to setup all the prefs again though :-(
Resolving WFM.
